Drive to LA was Smooth

It was a late start but it worked out better to leave during the superbowl than to leave earlier. The drive wasn’t too bad at all. There were a few rain showers but they didn’t last long. In fact, the weather wouldn’t make up its mind and I ended up fiddling with the wiper knob more than I fiddled with myself! Now that’s a darn shame, eh?

I’ve mentioned this before but its always strange to go back to the condo. The old neighborhood is in much better shape since they finished the construction across the street and down the road. When I first bought the place the area was great, then construction moved in, it went to shit, crime increased and it didn’t feel very safe. Construction always seems to be followed by crime. maybe its the empty buildings and opportunity for mischief. Now, its a nice neighborhood again, quiet, peaceful, and pleasant enough for an evening walk:)
