I have to admit that they are. My laptop is a dell and so are the computers I use to edit.

I’m going to LA next week and while I’m there I’ll be shooting some content that is  very exciting. Why is it exciting? Well, because its going to be content for games!  I’ll be adding games to SarahBlake.com  in the members section including Strip Poker,  Extreme Solitaire,  Strip Black Jack and more:) When they are implemented, they will be in the “Games” section.

I was playing them today and I’m pretty good at Strip Poker! I had that gal naked way before I though it would. Ahhh, if only it was like that in real life! J/K! The owner of the gaming company gave me a a great suggestion. He suggested that the members who play the game post screen shot of their final scores and the highest winner wins something form me. Everything is set to go. I’m still uploading a few BTS video and a few other that needed fixing but this is minor stuff that easy to deal with. Time consuming but easy to deal with.

I’m writing up a newsletter to let everyone know that is a member or previous member, and other friends know that the site i snot live plus travel info and any other news:) I have this nifty new software that puts together the newsletters and manages the new joins and unsubscribe list automatically. Well, back to the grindstone!

I spent most of the day fixing thumbnails for video content. Its a very tedious process and with all the videos, its taking a long time. I’ll have it done by Monday night but there needs to be enough of the old content plus new content to re-launch the site. I’m really excited about the unveiling. I’m also shooting content next week and pretty much every week here on out for this site and the new ones coming out.

In between my eyes feeling as if they were going to turn square, I went outside and pulled weeds out of my front yard. I have all rock but they are coming through anyway, clinging to life around my tree. The trees are on a drip system and the weeds get just enough water to be annoying. I don’t want to put chemicals everywhere to I just have to pull the little buggers out.

The categories are gone but I think its better this way. You can still find the webcam rebroadcasts in the video area or on the webcam page itself. Comments can be made directly onto the blog instead of in the forum. The forum has gotten a make-over and is not part of the site and does not open in a new window. I got rid of the poll wuestions because I can do poll questions in the forum. It just makes sense to do it that way.

My bro uploaded a tone of teaser blogs for the non-members area so they can still see a little of what they would get as members. He is only up to August of 2004. I know what he is going through, its a pain in the ass to transfer all the entries. I really like to write and about now, I bet he is wishing I would shut up,lol.

I haven’t quite figured out how to structure the store but its progressing. I made a decision about the bonus area and think its a better idea all around. There are times when I can make deals and get discounts so I’ll pass those olong to members only in that section. I had previously live cams and other video content for that are but not many people were there to see that and wanted to see more of me. I’ll also be putting discounts and offers there. This will change monthly. plus, members will have access to products before the main store, like pre-release. I think that will be better for the members:)

I’m excited and exhausted which makes for a restless night in bed. I took some PM meds and hopefully I’ll be sleeping soon. Maybe if I put on the butterfly jammies, I’ll sleep better. They seem to have a calming effect on me. They should, they are silk, one of they most comfortable fabrics on the planet.

Loco is at my feet, fast asleep and snoring softly. She has it good I tell ya.

I arrived at the airport about 2 hours before my flight at the Delta terminal and thought something had happened. No one was there! I mean, the staff was there of course but there were only about 5 other people checking in. Security took all of about 2 minutes. This is pretty unheard of in any of the NYC airports. Today, is my last day in NYC and then I go home. I miss it but I’ve planned my trips around my homesickness. Only 3 day trips for most trips, 4 if there is a convention or even that I must attend. There are a few events that I plan to attend around the country. I decided to go to an event in Chicago and then decided to go ahead and travel there at the end of this month. It was kind of on a whim.

I’m seriously thinking about traveling more now. I really love Vegas and would rather stay there as much as possible but if I am to expand my businesses, I have to network, and its better to…

Well, I thought I had left jet lag behind and was amazed yesterday, today I’m cursing. Jet lag was delayed for some strange reason and it has hit hard, but only after most of my day is over. Its only 8pm and I’m exhausted. Is it mental exhaustion or jet lag. That is the million dollar question when you travel. I feel a little restless though even though I’d like to sleep. It feels a little like insomnia.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day and I’ll just relax and watch a movie. .I have been wanting to see “The Brave One” with Jodie Foster. Hotels are great for that. You can have room service and watch a movie that is still in theaters, without that theater experience. Having a job where you are in public and touching people, be on camera and always presenting a smile, can turn you to be more reclusive. I’m not much for night life anyway. The first draft of my new book is complete! I had it picked apart this weekend. I can’t edit my own writing, that just doesn’t work. Its a little painful to work on something for months and then have it hacked up and given back. Its a good experience though since I’ll be going through it again with the next book. I have decided to offer it as an e-book first with a CD back-up and then I’ll have it printed in a few months.

I’ve finished outlines for some other writing projects in between all the uploading of content to the new design of SarahBlake.com I ran out of server space so I had to clear off come content in the old member’s area. It looks like there will be a need for a server for each site, especially with all the video content. That always takes up a large amount of megabytes.

I’m also working on putting together an author website and a corporate site. the corporate site is up but I’m still working on the pages and content there as well. There are currently forms for production staff and models to fill out in order to work for my company, some product info and soon there will be all the corporate news and galleries from events that I plan to attend.
