I got home this morning at about 6am and it was my best night ever. I m really getting a lot more confident on stage and hanging out with everyone. My new outfits arrived but they looked better in the pictures and the fabric isn’t as comfy as I thought it would be. Last night I went to Girls of Glitter Gulch on Fremont st and got hired on the spot to work any shift. It was a fun few hours since I decided to stay and work after I filled out all the paperwork. I really had a lot of fun and even though the stage is narrow, I killed! At Sapphires, no one really tips you on stage and you feel kinda like you are wasting your time. I bought a fish tank today for my mom. She really likes to watch the fish and its really relaxing. It was kind of a pain in the ass but we got everything set up. I had to build the tank stand. I hate having to put everything together all the time. Its a good thing I know what I’m doing when it comes to tools. there are benefits to being a tomboy that’s good with her hands. After the tank was set-up we went and bought some fish. They are little cuties and all different colors. Later, I plan to add some kissing fish, angels, and of course some frogs. I really wanted to get a fresh-water puffer fish but they are aggressive and you can’t put them in with community fish. I do love their personalities though. When I lived in Indiana, there was an aquatic rescue place and I went there with my family to see what they have. There was a huge freshwater puffer with bright teal eyes. It let me pet him . . . So, I have some ads up to find talent to shoot for the site and also for production staff. It is producing the funniest inquiries I think I have ever seen! I have received many emails with just a phone number, no words or even a statement of what job they are applying for. Those are deleted immediately. Ok, not that funny. Then there are the emails that are legit, those are kewl but most of the applicants aren’t in the Las Vegas area and no intention of traveling there unless I foot the bill for them to come here. Yeah, if they are that hot I might consider it but based on what I’m seeing, there is no way. Then there are the mass pictures of woohaas. I get at least 4-10 a day. I’m still trying to find a reliable staff here in Vegas for video production. It looks like I may have to fly back to LA to get them done. Ugh, I really don’t want to do that. I have officially overdone it once again,lol:) I felt so good that I danced my tail off and got some heavy newbie bruising. I found something that works wonders on bruising though. There is a Chinese herbal remedy but if you over-use it, then you can soften your bones. I decided that’s not a good remedy, especially since I am such a klutz and I’m likely to use it over a period of time and not every once in awhile. There is acacia which is supposed to be good but I can’t seem to find it locally and I’m getting tired of ordering everything online and waiting forever for it to arrive. Oh, I almost forgot. My new floor looks fan-fuckin-tastic:) I’m so glad to be rid of that damn carpet. It only took 2 days for the guys to put it in and I thought that was pretty damn fast considering the amount going in. Today was the first day that I woke up after dancing that I wasn’t walking around like an old lady:) I’m getting used to the whole environment and my body doesn’t hate me now.
