I shot with an eccentric fellow I’ll call Brian. He has tattoos sleeves but is really nice. He is also a content provider for several websites. This was my first full day of shooting pictures almost non-stop except for lunch… He gave me a couple printed pictures though, even one I could show my mom. I was wiped by the time I got back to my room. All the excitement was getting to me and I slept like a baby after supper.

I found out what the disturbance was in the middle of the night. One of the guys on set had gone out and gotten drunk and came back to the house, I guess horny or confused and was coming into one of the girl’s rooms. After I found out what the latest rumors were as to who the guy was I went back to make-up where they dressed me in a 1940’s style dress with stocking that had feet and a black line that goes up the back(cuban heel). Very kewl. I looked like a hot 50’s mom! Well that’s be without the dress but the make-up is 1940’s. LOL! I did a dance on the balcony for my calendar girl moment. I think they told me that Marilyn Monroe stayed in the bedroom I was dancing outside of. I went back to make-up after my dance and watched the other girls. Larissa did a very kewl dance with a corvette and bucket of soapy water. I remembered that I was going to get to do my first girl/girl scene in just a few hours…

A call came in to my agent in the afternoon. One of the girls from the “Can You Be a Porn Star?” contest couldn’t perform or participate in the show because she didn’t have the proper test. She had a test from a healthcare provider other than AIM. It was not acceptable for the show. So, I got to fill in. I put all the clothes I had in my big suitcase and went to the house where they were filming. I was taken directly to make-up. First time for everything! There were several girls chatting and laughing. One of them looked very familiar and I told her so. She smiled and asked me if I had seem very many Metalica Videos. OMG, it was Ginger Lynn! I didn’t recognize her without the make-up and it had been so long since I’d seen the video that I didn’t put it together. Open mouth, insert foot.

Then an assistant came in the dressing/make-up room and introduced me to the lady doing wardrobe. I didn’t really have anything except the clothes that I used to dance in, and one pair of black stripper shoes. Ginger was so kind and …

I woke up late. I was probably sleeping off the stress of leaving my family and flying. I met Garrett, he’s a photographer for a lot of websites. The shoot took about 4 hours and I got to try on all kinds of clothes. That was pretty fun. We took lots of breaks to smoke and he helped me out with posing since this was my first time. We chatted about my name. I was going by Sarah Hart. I know, It’s not very inventive. He suggested “Blake” and I agreed that it sounded a lot better. After the shoot I went back to my agent’s apartment and told him I wanted to change my name. So it was done. I was “Sarah Blake” from that point on.

All the plans were set for me to get on the plane. The flight was at 10am. My brother’s girlfriend let me use her frequent flyer miles and we booked the flight online a week in advance. I was so nervous, I shook. I had never rode in an airplane, very scared of heights, and I was taking this first flight/journey to LA on my own. My mom and younger brother drove me to the airport and waited while I checked my bags. I was early, anxious, and happy to start this new chapter in my life.
